If you’re a programmer:
\ncrop x y w h file<\/p>\n
x and y are the starting position in pixels (usually 0 unless you’re trimming the edges).
\nw and h are the width and height in pixels.
\nfile is the path and name of the file to be cropped. At present, this should be a .jpg file.<\/p>\n
If you used the default install, the crop program will be in:
\n“C:\\Program Files (x86)\\GssEziSoft\\Crop\\”<\/p>\n
Find the program in the directory above.
\nRight click it and “Send to”, “Desktop (create shortcut)”
\nGo to the desktop
\nRight click the shortcut and choose Properties.
\nClick the “Shortcut” tab.
\nTarget will say:
\n“C:\\Program Files (x86)\\GssEziSoft\\Crop\\crop.exe”.
\nChange this to:
\n“C:\\Program Files (x86)\\GssEziSoft\\Crop\\crop.exe” 0 0 300 300 “%USERPROFILE%\\Pictures\\scan.jpg”
\nClick OK.<\/p>\n
Now, double-clicking the icon on your desktop will trim any picture in your Pictures folder called “scan.jpg” to 300 pixels by 300 pixels. It is probably a good idea to rename scan.jpg after you’ve trimmed it so that another can be loaded and trimmed.<\/p>\n
If you want to change the size, change the 300 300 bit in the line above.<\/p>\n
You might want to rename the shortcut (eg crop300x300) or have several shortcuts for several sizes.<\/p>\n
